of the Faculty of Modern Languages, University of Warsaw invites applications for the position

of Assistant professor at the Institute of French Studies.

Number of positions – one

Job status – full time

Type of contract – employment for an indefinite period

Envisaged job starting date – 1 October 2021

Requirements:

The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions set out in art. 113 of the Act on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 85, as amended) and who meet the requirements: a PhD degree in the field of literary studies; academic achievements in the field of Francophone literature of the Americas, especially Canada (Québec); experience in applying for research grants; experience in conducting research projects; experience in conducting classes on francophone cultures; fluent knowledge of Polish and French.

During the selection process, the candidate may be asked to lead classes / lectures on a topic of her/his choice in French.

The Competition Committee reserves the right to respond only to selected applications by e-mail and to record the interview in minutes. The competition is the first stage of the employment procedure for academic teachers under the Statute of the University of Warsaw.
