OFFER DESCRIPTION
The National Institute for Research-Development in Physics and Nuclear Engineering "Horia Hulubei”, Department of Theoretical Physics (DFT), has an open position for Research Associate (experienced researcher) for a fixed term of 12 months, with the possibility of extension until the completion of the project (on 30.03.2024), with a part-time work schedule of 4 hours/day, within the Project: „Applications of Weyl symmetry to physics beyond the Standard Model”.
The candidate must have:
1) minimum 10 years of research experience, of which at least 4 years of research experience abroad/at an international level (as post-doctoral researcher, research associate; associate/visiting lecturer/reader/professor),
2) hold a PhD degree in Theoretical Physics or Mathematics;
3) research experience and publications in at least one of the areas of the project:
a) Weyl conformal geometry and applications;
b) Quantum corrections in curved space-time;
c) Models of inflation in alternative theories of gravity.
