OFFER DESCRIPTION

The Barcelona Graduate School of Economics has been granted with the Severo Ochoa excellence award (CEX2019-000915-S), funded by the Agencia Estatal de Investigación (AEI). The Seed grants are one of the initiatives of the Barcelona GSE Severo Ochoa Program, to support the development of our researchers, in particular the junior researchers among the Barcelona GSE Affiliated Professors.

Dr. Mikhail Spektor, as an affiliated professor of the Barcelona GSE, is looking for a Research Assistant for the Seed Grant entitled: Human learning: Fast = slow?

The position involves organizing and running scientific experiments (behavioral lab experiments using eye tracking), data analysis, and literature search.

Applicants should be interested in behavioral research, individual decision-making, and the links between overt behavior and physiological measurements (eye movements). Good knowledge of English and one or both local languages are essential. A Spanish working permit is highly desirable.

    Economics: Bachelor Degree or equivalent

Skills/Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of Python, R, or equivalent (e.g., Matlab, Julia, etc.)

- Strong interest in behavioral research

- Ability to manage own work without supervision

- Strong communication skills
