OFFER DESCRIPTION
Institute of Smart Cities (ISC) of Universidad Publica de Navarra (Public University of Navarre), Pamplona, Spain (http://www.unavarra.es/isc) offers a full time contract for a full year extendable anually up to 3 years, to carry out the tasks and duties assigned within the NZINATECH Project "Near-zero-index nanophotonic technologies" Starting Grant funded by the European Research Council under Horizon 2020.
The main purpose of the contract is the fabrication of photonic nanostructures via deep reactive characterization of the samples via Fourier-transformed infared spectroscopy, numerical simulations with commercial electromagnetic solvers, theoretical development.

UPNA will provide a full-time employment contract for a duration of 12 months, extendable anually up to 3 years, with entitlement to all the benefits available to all UPNA researchers.
The annual gross salary of each of the grants shall be €33,100.

Skills/Qualifications
The call of 2 post-doctoral grants assigned to the project NZINATECH shall be governed by the common and specific regulations contained therein. Granting them shall be subject to budget availability. The call contains the following grants:
•Postdoctoral grant 1: 1 grant on the topic: theoretical modelling of light-matter interactions in nanophotonic structures.
•Postdoctoral grant 2: 1 grant on the topic: experimental development of an integrated optics devices characterisation system.
Specific Requirements
To be a Doctor in the fields of nanophotonic and/or integrated optics.
