OFFER DESCRIPTION

YOUR DUTIES

  • Academic teaching in the mechanical engineering bachelor's and master's degree programmes ( mainly in German)
  • Development of content and methods for new and further development of existing courses in the areas of machine elements and basic mechanical engineering subjects
  • Preparation of teaching/learning materials and development of laboratory infrastructure
  • Technical and organisational coordination with other lecturers
  • Supporting the development of educational products (seminars, training courses, etc.)
  • Carrying out research and development activities
  • Supervision of scientific work, publication activities

Skills/Qualifications

YOUR PROFILE

  • Completed studies in mechanical engineering or comparable (at least Master's degree, doctorate desirable)
  • At least five years of experience in industry and/or academic teaching
  • Knowledge of machine elements, design, production and manufacturing technology
  • Interest in writing publications and participating in scientific conferences
  • Willingness to travel to a limited extent
  • High degree of team spirit and sense of responsibility
  • Excellent knowledge of German and English
