OFFER DESCRIPTION
Optimization of the construction maintenance strategy based on the use of dynamic dataand a digital model
The operation and maintenance management phase represents 75% of the overall cost of a construction. Optimizing the maintenance of existing buildings represents a major challenge in reducing energy costs. BIM (Building Information Model / Modeling / Management) is currently revolutionizing the field of Building and Public Works by allowing all stakeholders to collaborate around a single information base that is fed as and when construction life cycle. The democratization of connected objects, in particular sensors, allows easy access to dynamic data (parameters having an impact on the degradation kinetics of buildings). In this context, this thesis aims to develop a methodology for optimizing the construction maintenance strategy based on the use of dynamic data from sensors and a digital model.
Methodological developments will focus on: (1) The structuring of the digital model making it possible to store all the information useful for the proposed optimization methodology, (2) The realization of the scripts allowing to link the data to the sensors, the models of degradation to the components, the digital model and the temporal model of evolution of the components to the model, (3) The development of models of temporal evolution and optimization of the maintenance strategy, (4) The development of the script making it possible to visualize on the digital model the results of the models developed, namely the state of the building at different times depending on the management strategy, operation and maintenance chosen. This methodological development will be applied and validated on a concrete case: University buildings which have started to be equipped with sensors in order to collect data useful for this thesis.
