Together with renowned scientists and supported by an excellent infrastructure you will have the opportunity to make an important contribution for a healthier society.The Institute of Computational Biology is globally recognised for innovations in data analysis and modelling of biological systems and diseases, anchored at the Helmholtz Centre Munich and the Technical University Munich.We are looking for a highly motivated Postdoc deep learning in clinical real-world use (f/m/x) 100621 close to full time Neuherberg near Munich Postdocs Your responsibilities We are looking for a Postdoc interested in translating deep learning applications to clinical real-world use, in a multidisciplinary team consisting of physicians, bioinformaticians and AI experts. Your responsibilities:- Evaluation of deep learning algorithms for hematological diagnostics in a multicentric setting- Development of an AI workflow geared towards the needs of routine diagnostics- Optimization of AI-based models concerning robustness and stability- Supervision of studentsYour qualifications- PhD in computational image analysis, medical imaging, computational medicine, or a related field- Strong motivation and ability to independently work on computational projects- Excellent knowledge of state-of-the-art image analysis methods, especially deep learning- Interest in solving clinically relevant problems using computational methods Desired qualifications - Expertise in testing of AI applications or explainability methods for neural networks- Expertise in supervision of students- Motivation to work and develop in a multi-disciplinary teamWhat we offer you continuous education and training work-life balance flexible working hours & time off in lieu 30 days annual leave on-site health management service mobile work on-site nursery elder care company pension scheme discounted public transport ticket Munich, with its numerous lakes and its vicinity to the Alps, is considered to be one of the cities with the best quality of life worldwide.
