The School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies and Department of Near Middle Eastern Studies in Trinity College Dublin is seeking to recruit two Research Fellows (Post-Doctorate Researcher) with experience in social history (X1) and History of Literacy and Education(X1).
Post Title 1: Research Fellow (Post-Doctorate Researcher - Arabic Poetry in the Cairo Genizah: Social History)
Post Title 2: Research Fellow - Post-Doctorate Researcher (Arabic Poetry in the Cairo Genizah: History of Literacy and Education)
Post Status: Specific Purpose Contract (expected duration approximately 36 months), Full-time
Department / School: Department of Near Middle Eastern Studies, School of Languages, Literatures and Cultural Studies Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin.
Location: Main Campus, Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin, College Green, Dublin 2, Ireland
Reports to: Principal Investigator
Salary: Appointment will be made on the Post-Doctorate Researcher salary scale (€38,632 – 41,025) at a point in line with Government Pay Policy appointment will be made no higher than point 1.
Hours of Work: Full time – 37.5hrs per week
