OFFER DESCRIPTION

The aim of this cultural project is to enrich the catalogue of cultural heritage objects in order to study and enhance them. The objects to consider concern the field of fashion. This project aims to promote research and insights on objects produced in medieval craft shops and widely traded. The goal is coherent with the Department's degree programs. The researcher will have to study the world of production and commercial exchanges and also to analyse consumption in their social and symbolic meanings, ranging from the Late Antiquity to the Early Modern Period. The objects at the center of
the project will be examined, classified, and valorised. Topics related to the cultural history and mentality of the late European Middle Ages will be explored. The project will also deal with material reconstructions inserted in a framework of solid knowledge of economic and social history.
