The Energy Production and Innovation Center (EPIC) has opened a call for applicants for fellowship opportunities funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the area of Artificial Lift-Production Optimization.

Theme: Study on clogging chemical injection lines in an oil well

EPIC is an Engineering Research Center (ERC) supported by FAPESP in partnership with Equinor, and hosted by the Mechanical Engineering School of the University of Campinas (FEM-UNICAMP), state of São Paulo, Brazil.

Requirements: PhD in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or similar areas, with knowledge of physical chemistry in phase equilibrium, chemical incompatibility and fluid properties.

1) Résumé and full academic records, including the GPA;

2) A motivation letter, written in English, explaining the interest in the vacancy (please inform the vacancy code) and your motivation for joining the research center;

3) Two letters of recommendation.

4) Scientific publications, Master and PhD Thesis.

An interview will be scheduled after the analysis of the applicant’s documentation.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP’s Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
