The Marie Curie ITN CISC consortium seeks applications from talented graduates to join our exciting PhD training program also referee to as ESR Fellowship (ESR stands for Early Stage Researcher).

Fellow ESR 1 Project Title: Model to predict Human Performance for collaborative intelligence applications. (duration 36 months)

Fellow ESR 2 Project Title: Active Learning for Fault Assessment and Diagnosis. (duration 36 months)

Fellow ESR 3. Project Title: Building of BBN from process safety data for decisions support and diagnostic of safety critical equipment status. (duration 36 months)

Fellow ESR 4 Project Title: Process Safety Data modelling for human-in the loop configurations in process control. (duration 36 months)

Benefits

36 months contract (Wages ranging from 28.000€ to 45.000€ per year depending on EU location)

The successful candidate will be recruited by the university on an employment contract for 36 months and enrolled on a doctoral degree programme. The role carries an attractive salary based on the rate defined by MSCA ITN 2018-20 which can be seen at https://tinyurl.com/183hikf4. Note the total amount received is adjusted by a correction coefficient for each country and may vary from employer to employer, even within the same country. Country variations on net salary may arise due to employer as well as employee payroll taxes and social security costs which must be deducted from the gross salary. The exact salary will be confirmed on appointment. Costs associated with research and training are covered under a separate budget allowance.

Selection process

The minimum requirements for entry into the programme are:

1) The candidates have to hold a Master of Science Degree or equivalent, allowing the access to PhD courses.

2) The candidates must not have resided or carried out his/her main activity (work, studies, etc) in the country of his/her host organisation for more than 12 months in the 3 years immediately prior to his/her recruitment.

(Short stays, such as holidays, are not taken into account ).

3) the candidates must be in the first four years (full-time equivalent research experience) of their research careers and have not been awarded a doctoral degree. The research experience is measured from the date when a researcher obtained the MSc degree.

4)English language: candidates must demonstrate that their ability to understand and express themselves in both written and spoken English is sufficiently high for them to derive the full benefit from the network training.

please note that as part of the CISC Marie Curie project if your project is hosted in an academic institution you will have a period of at least 18 months in secondment in an industry member of the consortium, if your project is hosted by an industry partner you will be seconded in the academic institution where your PhD is going o be registered.
