OFFER DESCRIPTION

The research concerns the study of problems inherent to Greek domestic architecture in relation to Greek urban planning, with particular reference to the Magna Graecia and specific territorial areas such as Poseidonia-Paestum and Elea-Velia. In the course of the work to be carried out, it will be necessary to reconsider the entire dossier relating to the living spaces in order to define: the architectural aspects (materials used, construction techniques, distribution of environments, relationship between internal and external spaces); the characteristics and function of buildings in relation to daily life; the relationships of the housing units with the urban structures; the variations and transformations of the housing culture through the recomposition of the settlement phases in the different periods; the socio-anthropological examination aimed at determining the economic and social status of the inhabitants of each settlement districts over time
