OFFER DESCRIPTION

Research and development of mathematical optimization methods for color imaging applications

The candidate must have a solid and proven background on variational methods and PDEs, and visual perception modeling, with publications in both areas.

The work involves developing, implementing and testing new methods, writing reports and scientific papers.

The position is full-time but short-term: starting date is March 10, 2021 and end date is August 31, 2021. There is no possibility for extension.

The job is to be performed at University Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. Although part of the work may be done remotely, the job requires to be present in Barcelona.
