Yanagi group, Department of Physics, Tokyo Metropolitan University, is now seekinga Assisant Researcher (or Assistant Professor) who can contribute to the experimental studies on 1D and 2D materials in the research centerproject “Study on thermoelectric physics in layered nano-materials". We aim to control thermal and charge transport across nano-interfaces, and to develop high-performance thermoelectric devices, thermal diodes, and so on through development of innovative new layered materials and devices.
We are looking for a researcher working on experimental studies on synthesis of new 1D and 2D materials and their thermal and charge transport properties. Research experiences in spectroscopy and synthesis of nanomaterials are preferred.

The salary is determined on the basis of educational background and job experience in accordance with the Tokyo metropolitan university rules (https://education.joureikun.jp/tmu/). You shall join in Social Insurance (Health insurance, Employee's pension insurance, and Employment insurance).
