We invite applications for the position of Associate Professor/Lecturer in Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Hokkaido University. We seek individuals who can enhance the research and education capabilities of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Hokkaido University.

Associate Professor or Lecturer
This is a call for an associate professor or lecturer in charge of the Anesthesiology section which will be newly established at Veterinary Teaching Hospital, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Hokkaido University.
It is a fixed-term system that may be renewed every single year (from April to March).

1)Education, research, and other activities related to School of Veterinary Medicine and Graduate School of Veterinary Medicine
2)Clinical service including night and holiday clinic and education in the field of Veterinary Clinics, particularly on veterinary anesthesiology, pain management and emergency medicine at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital
3)Undergraduate courses: Clinical Rotation (Companion Animal) (shared), Clinical Rotation (Night Shift and Emergency) (shared), Advanced Lecture on Clincal Veterinary Medicine (shared), Lecture on Veterinary Surgery shared), Lecture on Applied Veterinary Surgery (shared), Practice on Small Animal Surgery (shared), Tutorial Research (shared) and others
4)Graduate courses: Subjects on Advanced Veterinary Science (shared), Advanced and Comprehensive Studies on Integrated Specialized Veterinary Clinical Medicine (Shared), Research on Veterinary Science (shared), Advanced Seminar on Veterinary Science (shared), and others

[Salary]The salary will be determined in accordance with the regulations of Hokkaido University.
[Working Form]Discretionary labor system for professional work (The working hours for a day is deemed as 7 hours and 45 minutes).
Discretionary work routine(standard working hours-starting time:8:30,finishing time:17:00-exact working time will be determined for each worker on a case by case basis)
[Holidays]Saturdays, Sundays, national holidays provided for in the National Holidays Act, days from December 29th until January 3rd of the following year, other days determined by the University
