OFFER DESCRIPTION

[Job description]
The appointed professor conducts experiments, observations, and numerical analysis of phenomena such as flooding, river bank breach, riverbed variation, sediment production, runoff in river basins, and is required to conduct research on the prevention and mitigation of flood disasters and sediment disasters, taking account of the phenomena and their interactions. The candidate is also expected to play a key role in the management of the Ujigawa Open Laboratory and promote joint research using its facilities. In addition, the candidate will have responsibility for education in the Department of Civil and Earth Resources Engineering, Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University.

Discretionary labor system (standard working hours: 7 hours 45 minutes per day, 38 hours 45 minutes per week).

[Salary and Allowance]
To be determined in accordance with Kyoto University regulations.
