OFFER DESCRIPTION

 

This position will involve working at MTG-UPF in Barcelona to develop machine learning and signal processing algorithms and applications for audio and music analysis.

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with 2+ years of practical experience Experience in the design and development of music audio signal analysis, processing, and classification algorithms Experience in deep learning (TensorFlow)
  • Proficiency in software development using Python and Git Experience in Linux, including scripting Ability to work and deliver autonomously while being a part of a team

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Master degree in Sound and Music Computing, Music Technology or related field Experience developing audio signal processing algorithms and deep learning applications in an industrial context Experience using Essentia or similar audio analysis software Knowledge or interest in music technology and music theory Being passionate about writing clean code Proficiency in C++
