Job Description:

"User Experience/Interaction designer for the development of an online exhibition prototype"

We’re looking for a skilled interaction designer in their early career for the translation of complex biological science and the development of an online exhibition prototype.

The position includes prototyping, data visualisation, mentoring of co-creation workshops, and researching into innovative ways on how to disseminate the project results by the EvoCELL network to a wider audience. The position includes close collaboration with the museum’s exhibition department. The primary goal will be to understand the curatorial ideas for the communication of the EvoCELL research and transform that understanding into user-focused and intuitive interfaces for the web.

The expected biological results of the EvoCELL network, subprojects of which are distributed over 11 excellent research institutions across Europe, will have an impact not only on our understanding of the evolutionary processes underlying animal development and diversification, but also on mechanisms driving the evolution of organisms as a whole, including humans.

The position involves a short stay at one of the EvoCELL partners and collaborators institution as well as participation in the yearly meetings and practical courses organized by the network, to ensure exchange with the experts within the EvoCELL network.
