OFFER DESCRIPTION

The Lattice gauge theory group at CP3-Origins, Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU), invites applications for one postdoctoral research associate position in lattice gauge theory.<p>The starting date should ideally be before 1 September 2021. The appointment is for two years.<br /><br />The position is funded by the Independent Research Fund Denmark (DFF) through the Research Project grant 'The muon g-2 beyond hadronic leading order' held by Associate Professor Michele Della Morte. <br /><br />Candidates should have a PhD title in Physics or Mathematics with experience in Quantum Field Theory, High Performance Computing and Monte Carlo Simulations. The PhD title must have been obtained, at the earliest, four years before the application deadline. This four years limit may be extended by the length of any maternity/paternity leave, military service, humanitarian aid, etc. completed during the period.
