The Postdoctoral Associate is expected to conduct high-quality research and mentoring, which entails:
-Development of new ideas for new laser-semiconductor interaction mechanisms based on nonlinear dynamics.
-Day-to-day operation, maintenance and experiments with lasers with applications in semiconductor based photonics.
-Overview and mentoring to graduate students.
-Participating in other cutting-edge research projects on photonics devices.
The position will be initially reserved for 1 year, with possible extension renewable annually. The side benefits include private health insurance, lunch tickets, and on-campus housing. The postdoc will work under the supervision of Prof. Onur Tokel.
