OFFER DESCRIPTION

The proposed project should have the main objective of mapping cultural characteristics within the so-called Tupiguarani Tradition. The fellow will be responsible for the spatial, formal, and technological characterization of the different ceramic industries that occur in the state of São Paulo (Brazil), aiming at establishing a synchronic and diachronic framework of horticultural groups during the final Holocene, including their possible relations with other ceramist and forager groups that continued occupy parts of the territory.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationalities. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of R$ 7,373.10 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 15% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity.
