The Faculty of Science, Technology and Medicine (FSTM) contributes multidisciplinary expertise in the fields of MathematicsPhysicsEngineeringComputer ScienceLife Sciences and Medicine. Through its dual mission of teaching and research, the FSTM seeks to generate and disseminate knowledge and train new generations of responsible citizens, in order to better understand, explain and advance society and environment we live in. 

The position is funded by the ERA Chair SanDALin Mathematical Statistics and Data Science


Your Role
  • Collaborate with the members of the team to create and keep updated new R packages
  • Perform code reviews to ensure performance
  • Design and develop tests using test automation tools
  • Process data sets and contribute to the scientific production of the team
Your Profile
  • A Master degree is required in computer science/engineering or in another field but with equivalent proven experience in software development
  • Strong programming skills in R and C++, knowledge of Python is considered an advantage
  • Have a taste for statistics and their applications to Life Sciences and Industry, some knowledge of Statistics is considered an asset
  • Good written and oral skills in English
