OFFER DESCRIPTION

The applicants must meet the requirements set out in the Act on Higher Education and Science of July 20, 2018 and meet the following qualification criteria:

• master's degree in engineering in the field of Mechanics and Machine Design, Mechatronics, Materials Engineering or similar;

• predisposition to conduct teaching classes at a university level

• fluency in Polish language, both spoken and written, and communicative in English, enabling them to conduct classes;

• ability to work in a team environment and analytical thinking.

An additional advantage will be:

• scientific achievements in the field of mechanical engineering;

• ability to use modern research methodologies used in mechanical engineering;

• fluent in use of computer tribological testers and microscopes;

• experience in teaching university classes.

The salary at the position is 3250 PLN gross

Eligibility criteria

Selection process

Applicants should submit
• application addressed to the Vice-Rector for Education at UWM in Olsztyn;

• curriculum vitae;

• personal questionnaire;

• diploma of obtaining   masters degree or doctoral degree;

• declaration regarding the scientific discipline with respect to which the candidate for employment informs that he will submit the declaration referred to in Art. 265 of the Act of July 20, 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science;

• a written opinion confirming the candidate's predisposition to work as an academic teacher;

• a declaration of the state of health that allows him to work as a research and teaching assistant;

• written opinion of the supervisor from the last work place  (applies to candidates from outside the University who started work);

• consent to the processing of personal data (valid at UWM).
