OFFER DESCRIPTION

The main activities of the recruited person will be to:
- participate in archaeological, geomorphological and environmental data collection activities;
- build the collaborative database of the project
- ensure scientific and technical monitoring of the ALOA project;
- write technical reports and research articles;
- participate in workshops or conferences to present this work
- feed the project blog and other communication media.

As part of the ALOA project (Archéologie Littorale Outre Atlantique, Fondation de France) dedicated to the impact of climate change on the cultural (archaeological) heritage of the Guadeloupe and Saint-Martin islands, the recruited person will be dedicated, on the one hand, to the operational coordination of the project and, on the other hand, to the development of participatory science methodologies to carry out a heritage health report in its geomorphologic context and to develop action research principles.

The CReAAH is a multidisciplinary research team (archeology, archaeosciences, history).
The "Coastal Archeology" team in which the person will be recruited aims to better understand the impact of climate change on coastal systems and their cultural heritage, on both sides of the Atlantic. In this context, the team has developed several research programs aimed at finding solutions to the announced destruction of part of this heritage. To do this, the team is developing an analytical approach (assessment of health status, prioritization of actions to be undertaken) as well as action research involving all institutional stakeholders (heritage managers, Ministry of Culture, coastal managers ...), academics (researchers, specialists ...) but also the public (associations, coast guards ...) in a participatory science approach (public awareness, online collaborative tools, public conferences, communication).
The recruited person can benefit from the dynamism and expertise of the team for their work and build on existing tools (as part of the ALeRT project) which should be adapted to the local context.
