The PhD program train excellence figures in the fields of research, public administration, and both cultural and social enterprise, through an educational paths in the sectors: philosophy and history of philosophy, philology, paleography, Antiquity literature, ancient history, archeology, history of science, politico-social history. These areas converge on a theme: Mediterranean as a place of clashing and meeting cultures, where philosophical, scientific and political traditions dialogue with each other. The focal points is the connection between identity, alterity, and difference.
