OFFER DESCRIPTION
1 partially funded PhD student position (18 months) is available in the Computational Neuroscience Lab led by Gustavo Deco, https://www.upf.edu/web/cns/gustavo, in the Center for Brain and Cognition, https://www.upf.edu/web/cbc, at Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona, Spain.
Financial support is provided by the EU H2020 FET Flagship Human Brain Project SGA3 945539.
The student will work on tasks related to the testing the efficiency of bio-inspired multilayered network architectures for AI, with a variety of time-dependent plasticity rules.
We are looking for excellent candidates with Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science backgrounds interested in developing Neuroscience-based Artificial Intelligence research. Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Dynamical Systems or Computational Neuroscience would be ideal.
Financial support is provided by the EU H2020 FET Flagship Human Brain Project SGA3 945539. The position is funded for 18 months.
