University Center of Excelllence Interacting Minds, Societies, Environments (IMSErt) seeks applicants for a 3-month Postdoctoral Research Fellow position in the People, Space and Environment Group, with possibility to renew for multiple months. The postdoc will work directly with Professor Maria Lewicka and Adrian Wójcik on a research project aimed in analyzing the longitudinal changes in pro-environmental behaviors and attitudes in Poland. The successful applicant will engage as a critical member of the team and will be engaged in design and analysis of the 1st wave of Polish Longitudinal Survey on Sustainability [PLSS].

We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in the social research on sustainability (e.g. environmental sociology, conservation psychology, conservation biology) and good statistical training with a special focus on complex regression models.

  • The position will be located in Toruń, Poland, at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, Nicolaus Copernicus University
  • Gross Salary: in the first month 15 000 PLN, in the next months 10 000 PLN
  • Contract: “contract to perform a specified research task”
  • Proposed Start Date 01/10/2020
  • Estimated Duration of Appointment: 3 Months, renewable for multiple months
