This position will involve working at MTG-UPF in Barcelona to support the research being carried out by the different labs, especially with respect to the development and maintenance of datasets, software tools and web servers.

ABOUT MTG-UPF: The Music Technology Group (MTG) of the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, part of its Department of Information and Communication Technologies, carries out research on topics such as audio signal processing, music information retrieval, musical interfaces, and computational musicology. The MTG wants to contribute to the improvement of the information and communication technologies related to sound and music, carrying out competitive research at the international level and at the same time transferring its results to society. To that goal, the MTG aims at finding a balance between basic and applied research while promoting interdisciplinary approaches that incorporate knowledge and methodologies from both scientific/technological and humanistic/artistic disciplines. REQUIRED EDUCATION LEVELComputer science: Bachelor Degree or equivalentEngineering: Bachelor Degree or equivalent
Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience in the design, development and testing of software
• Experience with web development using Python (Django or Flask)
• Proficiency in devops, including Docker
• Experience in Linux, including server configuration and maintenance
• Ability to work and deliver autonomously while being a part of a team
• Fluent in English
• Experience with Machine Learning and Deep Learning environments like TensorFlow and/or PyTorch
• Experience with managing large collections of data
