Sciences for Cultural Heritage

The educational course of the Doctorate explores themes related to the study of cultural heritage (from prehistory to the present). Although it is divided into two chronologically differentiated curricula (Antiquity and from Middle Ages to Contemporary Age), the course presents a strongly interwoven structure: particular attention is thus paid to the methodological aspects, which are multidisciplinary, in order to improve knowledge and development of the cultural heritage.
The themes below touch upon different scientific disciplinary sectors and chronological periods: they synthetize the main research orientations related to both the study of immaterial, archeological and artistic heritage, and the processes of conservation and enhancement.
