OFFER DESCRIPTION

the activities that the researcher will carry out are linked to the development of the project entitled "Reconstruction of the genomic history of ancient and modern human populations" and specifically the research activity will concern the analysis of variability human genomics through the application of advanced NGS sequencing methodologies and genotyping methods extended to the whole genome. The data produced will be analyzed by means of integrated biostatistical and bioinformatics analysis methods aimed at analyzing the genetic structure and inferring the demographic and population processes that have determined the current genetic variability. The data produced by the analysis of the variability and genetic structure of a set of modern populations of interest will be integrated and compared with genomic data available for ancient samples
