Junior Lecturer in Data Science

Duties and responsibilities

• Teaching Data Science courses, incl Algorithmics, Machine learning, Data Engineering, and/or Artificial Intelligence at the Bachelor's and Master's levels. 
• Supervising students at the first and second level of higher education.
• Participation in the research and development activities.
• Popularisation of the specialisation.

Required qualifications
Master's degree or an equivalent qualification.

Required experience

• The applicant must be qualified to conduct seminars and practice sessions in the chair of Data Science and to participate in the research work of the field. 
• Experience in teaching (incl e-learning) is not necessary, although it is desirable.

Required language skills
Excellent knowledge of English, knowledge of Estonian is an advantage.

Salary
From 2000 € / per month

3. A list of research publications (if necessary, enclosing copies or offprints of more important publications).
4. A copy of a document (including its annexes) which shows the candidate to hold the required qualification (with authorized translation into Estonian, English or Russian if the credential is not in Estonian, English, Russian, Finnish, Swedish, French, Italian, Ukrainian and Belarussian languages). A candidate can be required to submit the original or a certified copy of the document (including its annexes) showing the candidate to hold the required qualification. If the candidate has acquired the higher education in question abroad, he or she may be required to submit an assessment issued by the Academic Recognition Information Centre (the Estonian ENIC/NARIC) of his or her qualification in respect of the qualification requirements for the position.

In the application, the candidate has to outline the competencies and teaching experience.

Salary is from 2000 € gross per month, depending on qualifications and work experience.

This amount is subject to taxation at a 20% flat tax rate.

The total annual payroll is from 32 000 euros, which includes employer taxes.
