OFFER DESCRIPTION

This position will involve working at MTG-UPF in Barcelona to develop signal processing and machine learning algorithms and applications for audio and music analysis, including web audio applications. Required skills/qualifications: Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or equivalent, with 2+ years of practical experience Experience in the design and development of music audio signal analysis, processing, and classification algorithms Proficiency in software development using Python, C++, JS, Git, and Docker Experience in Linux, including scripting Ability to work and deliver autonomously while being a part of a team Preferred skills/experience: Master degree in Sound and Music Computing, Music Technology or related field Experience developing audio signal processing algorithms and web applications in an industrial context Experience using Essentia or similar audio analysis software Experience in building web audio applications, Web Audio API, modern JavaScript frameworks, basics of web design Knowledge or interest in music technology and music theory Being passionate about writing clean code
