OFFER DESCRIPTION

The thematic area of research is the relationship between landscape and archeology (between physical space and memory between evidence of the present and deposit of the signs of history). The relevance of the issue is not in question: the Italian territory is strongly characterized by traces of the past and its contemporary dimension is the summary of the layers accumulated in a palimpsest where writings and cancellations overlap.
The research project proposes to trigger a process of enhancement of the ancient city of Veio starting from the integration of the sectoral aspects as a guide to the intervention strategy. The research, the design simulation, the construction of know-how on the case study are also proposed as a methodological advance referable to comparable situations.
