OFFER DESCRIPTION

The Purpose of the competition is to fill the position of ASSISTANT PROFESSOR (adiunkt) at the Chair of Archeology.

The competition is open to persons who meet the conditions specified in Article 113 of the Act of 20th July 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws: 2018, item 1668 as amended) and correspond to the criteria indicated in the competition.

The competition is the first stage of the recruitment process for the post of an academic teacher and its positive outcome is the basis for further procedure.

  • REQUIRED LANGUAGES
    POLISH: Excellent

Skills/Qualifications

- PhD degree, discipline: archaeology,

- documented scientific achievements in the field of archaeology of European Bronze Age or Iron Age of the Baltic Coast and Pomerania Region;      cognitive archaeology or forensic biology

- documented experience in scientific presentations both at domestic and international conferences,

- fluent knowledge of Polish language, knowledge of English or German languages.

4. certified copies of academic diploma(s) doctoral degree, if documents are not in Polish, a certified translation is required,

5. information about academic achievements and didactic accomplishments,

6. a statement of the fulfillment of the requirements, specified in Article 113 of the Law on Higher Education and Science of 20 July 2018 (Journal of Laws, item 1668 as amended),

7. a declaration that University of Szczecin is going to be the place of the applicant's primary employment,

8. a candidate’s consent for the processing of personal data by the University of Szczecin in the recruitment process (RODO).

The candidates may submit other documents or provide information which in their belief may be useful in the course of the competition procedure.
