HISTORY, ARCHEOLOGY AND HISTORY OF ART

The PhD Program in History, Archaeology and Art History forms highly qualified researchers in the following fields of application: the civilizations of the ancient Mediterranean; the social, economic and political dynamics of European societies from the Middle Ages to the contemporary age; the management of globalization scenarios in the history of contacts between the European world and non-European worlds; the processes of formation of the archaeological and art-historical heritage; the formation and uses of “storage sites” (archives, museums, libraries, databases).
The program is divided into two “curricula”: History and Cultural Heritage.
