OFFER DESCRIPTION

The large presence of historical buildings in areas with high seismic hazard (earthquake recurrence) poses the problem of cultural heritage preservation. It is an issue that concerns not only Civil Defence and scientific research but also the culture of preservation.
. This law is based on the synergy between scientific and humanistic knowledge. Its scope is to provide as much as possible standard procedures for the interventions on those Cultural Heritage Assets that are subject to seismic risks.
These assumptions lead to the need, repeatedly emphasized by the scientific community, to include archaeological analysis among the preventive studies of historical buildings in seismic areas. As a matter of fact, it is possible to understand the structural and seismic history of architectural artefacts through the analysis of past interventions, natural or anthropic transformations and the characteristics of building systems
