The Quantum Function System Research Group aims at developing novel concepts and electronics bases for quantum control and quantum information technology with semiconductor nanostructures. The major research topics include physics and technology of spin-based quantum computation and quantum state control with quantum dots: quantum coherence, quantum entanglement, and quantum operations. We have newly started an experimental research project on developing advanced quantum physics and technologies with Si quantum dots. Applications of those who have experimental expertise about electrical properties of low-dimensional electronic systems, particularly quantum dots, are greatly encouraged.
