The INSOCO project (Plan Nacional DPI2016-80116-P) studies the fundamental aspects of the self-organization of social behavior, from low level entrainment to higher level emergence of social conventions, in multi-agent populations considering the different levels of agent control: from pure reactive interactions to complex adaptive agents.

The project is now entering its last period and we are seeking for a research assistant position candidate that will join INSOCO with possibilities of entering the UPF PhD program later when the project finishes. The candidate should have a strong interest in multi-agent systems and robotics. Good programming skills are required, preferably Python. Interest in Complex Systems, Neuroscience and Psychology is a plus.
