OFFER DESCRIPTION

The candidate must have expertise in Paleolithic Archeology and / or in ancient Prehistory. The research fellow will participate in the activities of the ERC HIDDEN FOODS project (PI: Prof. Emanuela Cristiani). The grant holder will be engaged in the creation of 3D models and in the application of geomatic analysis to experimental and archaeological lithic technology; in the functional analysis of archaeological objects in stone (flint and / or quartzite) chipped and non-chipped associated with Ancient Prehistory; in the analysis of experimental and archaeological residues on chipped and non-chipped stone objects. Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English is required

Bachelor's degree in Archaeological Sciences
Specialization or Master in Paleolithic Archeology and / or, more generally, of ancient Prehistory
Congruence of the candidate / candidate's curriculum with the subject of the assignment, with particular reference to: 1. Creation of 3D models and in the application of geomatic analysis to experimental and archaeological lithic technology; 2. Functional analysis of archaeological objects in stone (flint and / or quartzite) chipped and non-chipped associated with Ancient Prehistory; 3. Analysis of experimental and archaeological residues on chipped and non-chipped stone objects; 4. Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English
