Investigation of the self-phoretic properties of various nanoparticles in the presence of optical landscapes. Development of advanced nanofabrication techniques to realize non-spherical hybrid nanoparticles (dielectric-metal). Investigation of the self-phoretic motion of these nanoswimmers in the presence of optical landscapes generated by laser beams in simple configurations, such as a single optical tweezers, multiple traps, and more complex configuration, such as random landscapes generated by speckle optical fields. Understanding the complex light-matter interaction and the non-equilibrium dynamics.
