At the Department of Christian History, Christian Art and Archaeology of the Protestant Theological Faculty at University of Vienna a positions of University assistants (post doc) is vacant, beginning the 1st of March 2020 (for 6 years).
Your responsibilities include active participation in research projects and publications, support in the editorial work for the Zeitschrift für Antikes Christentum and participation in the organisation of conferences. The holder of the position has the opportunity to prepare his or her own scientific work with the aim of a habilitation in church history as well as to apply for a third-party funded project within the scope of his or her own research. Participation in relevant international conferences is encouraged. Independent teaching of evaluated courses as well as supervision of student affairs is possible within the scope of extant regulations of the Collective Agreement.
