As a Senior Lecturer your main duty is to teach courses and tutor students. You will also participate in administration and research. The main field of lecturing refers to pre-service language education for English as a Foreign Language in the Austrian school context. Required qualifications: Teacher training degree in English as a Foreign Language in secondary school contexts (advantageous: Teacher training degree in another Foreign Language taught at the department); MA thesis in the field of Foreign Language Education; teaching experience in pre-service teacher education in English as a Foreign Language; English C2-level according to the CEFR; German if not L1, C1-level according to the CEFR; teaching experience in secondary schools; good IT competences; Advantageous: teaching experience in cross-linguistic pre-service language education at university level; Social Skills: ability to act indepently, reliably and goal-oriented, ability to solve problems creatively, ability to work in teams.
