Assistant in the Laboratory for Ceral Chemistry and Technology in the Department of Food Engineering, fixed term employment contract - one permormer (m/f),with the duration until the return of temporarly absent employee;

The candidate (m/f) who is eligible for advantage in employment under the Croatian special regulations has the right to invoke this right and will be given the advantage over the other candidates only under the same conditions. Documentary evidence of working experience issued by the Croatian institute for pension insurance or equivalent;
Documentary evidence of needed acquired qualifications from which it can be determined that the applicant meets the selection requirements for the position and title for which he/she applies;
Copy of the decision issued by the competent Croatian authority on the recognition of foreign educational qualifications for those applicants who have gained required educational qualifications outside Croatia;
Final Grade Transcription;
Proof of citizenship;
Documentary evidence of the knowledge of Croatian language - level C2 - according to the Common European Framework of Reference for languages– if applicant is foreign national applicant;
Documentary evidence of aforementioned mandatory and preferable experiences;
Handwritten statement- explicit consent of applicant (m/f) that result of competition will be sent electronically.

- Applicants (m/f) must meet the requirements set forth by the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education (Official Gazette No. 123/03, 198/03, 105/04, 174/04, 2/07 - Constitutional Court Decision, 46/07 , 45/09, 63/11, 94/13, 139/13, 101/14, 60/15 – Constitutional Court Decision, 131/17);
- an appropriate Bachelor's Degree and Master's degree or an equivalent graduate degree in an appropriate research field;
- knowledge of English language;
- working knowledge in computers;
- overall grade point average of the previous levels of study (Bachelor's study programme and Master's study programme or equivalent graduate study programme) which provides the admission and enrollment into the postgraduate studies in the Faculty of Food Technology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb;
- preferable to have experience in scientific research in the field of cereals chemistry and technology;
Applicants must meet the requirements specified by the Act on Scientific Activity and Higher Education101/14, 60/15) and by the Regulation on the appointment of scientific-educational, scientific, educational, associate and professional titles issued by the Faculty of FoodTechnology and Biotechnology, University of Zagreb (available on the Faculty'sweb site) and are required to submit all of the relevant evidence proving that those requirements are met.
