The Institute for Commercial and Business Law is looking for a university assistant (m/f) "post doc" with an interest in commercial, company and capital market law issues, in particular with cross-border and comparative legal references, to support teaching and research as of 2 January 2020. The Institute is part of the Faculty of Law. The Institute engages in teaching and research in the field of corporate and commercial law.

• Involvement in research, teaching and administration
• Setup and/or expansion of an independent, international research profile
• International publishing and lecture activity
• Independent research in the field of international commercial law
• Independent holding of courses according to the applicable provisions of the collective agreement
• Supervision and support of students • Involvement in research, teaching and administration

• Excellent command of spoken and written English
• High ability to express yourself both orally and in writing
• Profound knowledge of the Austrian or foreign legal system, especially in the fields of corporate law, capital markets law and tax law and their respective international dimensions
• Practical experience is considered an asset
• Experience in academic work is considered an asset
• Publications in renowned, subject-relevant media are considered an asset
• Command of further foreign languages is considered an asset
