At the Department of Old Testament Studies and Biblical Archeology at the Faculty of Protestant Theology of the University of Vienna a position of a prae-doc is vacant from now on.

Participation in research projects and other scholarly activities at the Department of Old Testament Studies and Biblical Archaeology; writing a dissertation with a focus on the Hebrew Bible (we expect the successful candidate to sign a doctoral thesis agreement within 12-18 months); participation in teaching and independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement (about two hours per week, beginning with the second year of the employment); supervision of students; involvement in the organization of conferences etc.; involvement in the department administration as well as in teaching and research administration.
