The Department of Crop Sciences, Institute of Plant Protection at BOKU is seeking applications for the position of a University Assistant (post doctoral level) working in the field of innovative and sustainable plant protection.
The appointment involves research and teaching in German and English language (both languages are mandatory). The successful candidate shall advise students and co-advise Master- as well as PhD-candidates. Besides administrative responsibilities the candidate is expected to apply for third party founded projects and basic research questions.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree in Agriculture or a related field and an outstanding teaching and research record and enthusiasm for collaborative working in the field of plant protection.
Gross monthly salary and pay grade in terms of collective agreement for university staff (payable 14 times per year): B1 lit. b, € 3.803,90
