The Dean of the Faculty of Health SciencesMedical University of Gdansk hereby opens a competition for the position of assistant lecturer- a researchand didactic university employee - didactic university employeea full time academic teacher

Unit of General Nursing (a fixed term employment contract)

Candidates eligible for the competition have to comply with the requirements set forth in art. 113 of the Law on Higher Education, i.e.

1)hold qualifications specified in the Law and the Statute,

2)have not been punished with the disciplinary penalty mentioned in art. 276 sec. 1, items 7 and 8 of the aforementioned Act ,

3) comply with the requirements stipulated by art. 20 sec. 1, item. 1-3 of an Act

as well as be competent and experienced to satisfactorily conduct classes with the Students.

Candidates should submit documents on holding requisite qualifications:

  • hold a vocational degree of Master of Nursing,
  • have a currently valid licence (nurses),
  • have a specialization in the field of the pediatric nursing
  • have a professional experience in a pediatric ward
  • have good command of the English language
  • have good command of the Polish language

candidate's statement to the effect that when qualified for employment through this competition, the Medical University of Gdansk will be his or her primary place of work as defined by the Law.
