At the Department of New Testament Studies at the Faculty of Protestant Theology of the University of Vienna a position of a prae-doc is vacant starting on November 1st, 2019

Participation in research and teaching
- Participation in research projects / research studies
- Participation in publications / academic articles / presentations
- We expect the successful candidate to sign a doctoral thesis agreement within 12-18 months
- Participation in teaching and independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement
- Involvement in the organisation of meetings, conferences, symposiums Participation in research and teaching

Completed diploma or master's degree in Protestant theology or teacher training in Protestant religion. Special interest in questions of New Testament exegesis and high-quality research, very good knowledge of Greek, methodical competences, high oral and writing expressiveness , very good knowledge of German and English and the ability to work in a team. Experiences in foreign countries and in the field of university research and teaching are desirable.
It is referred at § 15 of the Federal Law on external legal relations of the Protestant Church in Austria, Federal Law Gazette No. 182/1961 as amended.

Selection process
