Researcher Ancient History full time Experienced 4-10 yrs (Post-Doc)
Aim of the project IN-ROME is the reconstruction of the epigraphic landscape of ancient Rome and its suburbium, starting from the virtual contextualization, through a digital process, of the inscribed monuments and objects, whose finding place or archaeological provenance is known.

Since the implementation of the online database EDR, with a high-quality standard, critical readings and updated bibliography, will be carried on with the aim of the reconstruction of the epigraphic landscape of Rome, the following skills are required as necessary: a good knowledge of Latin Epigraphy, a direct experience of the database EDR (Epigraphic Database Roma) and the Silvio Panciera Archive, as well as of the topographic contexts of Rome and its suburbium and of the main research tools, both traditional and digital, related to the Latin inscriptions of Rome published in the VI volume of the Corpus Inscriptionum Latinarum.
