OFFER DESCRIPTION
We are a team of three scholars who research and teach Old Testament Studies with different focus. We are looking for a qualified staff member. Apart from tasks within the department (participation in research, administration and teaching due to extent regulations of wage agreement) there is spare time for writing a Habilitation in Old Testament Studies. Active participation in research, teaching and administration. This involves
- Developing and strengthening the independent research profile; designing a realistic perspective on the own development (habilitation thesis etc.)
- Involvement in research projects / research studies
- International publications and presentations
- Responsibility for project applications and the acquisition of third-party funding
- Preparing / writing a (publication-ready) habilitation thesis
- Independent teaching of courses as defined by the collective agreement
- Supervision of students
- Participation in evaluation measures and quality assurance
- Involvement in the department administration as well as in teaching and research administration
Expected are support in proofreading and critical notes on publications. Both in content and administrative support, the candiate shall prepare congresses and excursions (esp. the continual Israel trip). This shall be done in tight cowork with the assistent of organisation. Active participation in research, teaching and administration. This involves
